We work as a developer, purchasing land or property to deliver public benefit. We offer market value for land – evidenced through an independent valuation – while also providing a response to a particular local challenge.
For example, we are currently rolling out a new model of affordable housing, HEARTHuk, which provides home ownership opportunities for families who whilst they do not qualify for social housing, nonetheless struggle to afford a home that meets their needs. We are actively pursuing land purchase opportunities to develop this product further, together with our partner Norse Group.
Where we purchase land, we are also able to offer ancillary services funded through the value of the land, where additional capacity or expertise is needed by the land-owning body to drive forward associated parts of the project.
