Harry’s advisory work covers all aspects of development advice and consultancy including accommodation and infrastructure project delivery including education, healthcare, elderly care, custodial, housing and energy.
Qualified as a Chartered Building Surveyor, Harry has a strong background in the practical aspects of programme and project delivery as well as proven experience in governance, transaction and the disciplines necessary to secure timely delivery of outcomes for project participants.
After qualifying Harry was made partner in a firm of chartered surveyors leading in historic building conservation and adaptive re-use of historic buildings. Through this practice he worked on a number of high-profile buildings and monuments across the UK.
After leaving private practice, Harry then joined the PPP and PFI consulting business of Currie and Brown based in the City of London where he was a director and was involved in providing project assurance on over 80 PFI Accommodation and Infrastructure sector projects both in UK and the then emerging markets in Continental Europe, USA and Canada.
He then moved to Partnerships for Schools where he helped helping to form and manage a team of project directors tasked to support the initiation and delivery of the UK government’s £55bn programme of PPP and capital renewal programme, Building Schools for the Future. At PfS Harry was a regional Operations Director. His work also involved the development of programme management and transactional capacity within local and central government and had oversight of all UK education PFI projects. This role included political consultation and support in decision making at local and national level, along with support in policy development and implementation.
