Project Director and Company Secretary (MCIPS)
Kirsten is an MCIPS qualified procurement professional and PRINCE 2 qualified project manager with over 15 years public and private sector experience. She has significant public sector policy and delivery experience at all levels of government including education, regeneration and infrastructure.
She supports clients to review their strategies, operations and programmes and to develop business cases for the establishment of alternative delivery vehicles. Currently, Kirsten is working with local authorities developing place making strategies including housing delivery.
Prior to joining Cornerstone, Kirsten worked at PwC where she led the delivery of transformation programmes with public authorities. This included supporting clients to deliver efficiency savings and project managing the delivery of high profile procurements in a range of categories. Kirsten also supported authorities leading the development of arm’s length delivery vehicles and outsourcing services.
Kirsten started her career in local government. Until 2007, she was a Senior Policy and Service Development Manager at Surrey County Council, where she was also a Graduate Management Trainee from 2002-2004. She has experience of working across a range of services, including children and young people / education, adults, communications and corporate services. Whilst at Surrey, Kirsten developed the annual £10m service delivery agreement for the Council’s education support services Joint Venture.
Kirsten is also Company Secretary to Cornerstone and its subsidiaries.
