Overview

This project involved the sale of development land to Cornerstone from Cheshunt School (a foundation school), and the provision of ancillary activities to re-provide and improve the existing school buildings funded by the development proceeds.

What we did

Cornerstone (supported by NPS and HTA Architects) developed a master plan for the housing and brief for the School Works. The applications for Secretary of State consent to dispose of the surplus playing fields has been approved by the panel and we have received Secretary of State approval.

Willmott Dixon/Prime Place have agreed fixed prices with their sub-contractors. The reserved matters planning application for the Housing was approved in November 2015 by Broxbourne Council. We targeted a final land payment of up to £250K by end December 2015.
