Overview
Cornerstone Assets carried out a viability study to establish options for the rebuilding of Castle Manor Academy and Samuel Ward Academy in a new all-through school funded through the redevelopment of surplus school assets for housing. We conducted a site review and then produced an initial assessment for development potential and constraints; programme level financial viability modelling and a high level development appraisal; an initial assessment of what was achievable in terms of options for improved school facilities; and formulation of some preferred scenarios and strategic recommendations.
